My Story

I am from Grand Forks and grew up skating in Border Blades Figure Skating Club. I also took lessons from coaches in Moorhead/Fargo, Bemidji, Minneapolis and Milwaukee.

I competed in several local competitions, several in the Minneapolis area as well the Upper Midwest Regionals and the Colorado Open in Colorado Springs.

I joined Disney on Ice after I graduated from high school and toured the world for 10 years. That skating experience included understudy (pairs), women’s assistant line captain, ensemble (synchro), & character work and skating with world class skaters from all over the world.

I left Disney to pursue an education and graduated with distinction from the University of Minnesota, Crookston with a bachelor’s degree in Business.

I have been coaching for Border Blades (and previously the GF Park District) for 20+ years. I've also hosted out of club skating camps. I've had students pass Gold Free Skate, Gold and International Dance, Gold Solo Free Dance and Gold Skating Skills.

The past two years I was invited to work with the UND Hockey Cheer team to choreograph an intermission number for the team.

I am married 15+ years to my husband Chris and we have two boys Cameron and Blake.
