My Story
A dedicated figure skating professional originally from Grand Forks, I began my career training locally with the Border Blades Figure Skating Club, as well as under coaches in Moorhead/Fargo, Bemidji, Minneapolis, and Milwaukee.
My competitive experience includes several local and regional events, notably the Upper Midwest Regionals and the Colorado Open.
Following high school, I embarked on a successful 10-year world tour with Disney on Ice. This experience provided diverse training in pairs (understudy), ensemble, character work, and included serving as the Women’s Assistant Line Captain, collaborating with world-class skaters globally.
After my touring career, I pursued higher education, graduating with Distinction from the University of Minnesota, Crookston with a bachelor’s degree in business.
For over 20 years, I have channeled my expertise into coaching with the Border Blades, the Grand Forks Park District, and other local figure skating clubs. I am proud to have guided students to success in advanced tests, including Gold Free Skate, Gold and International Dance, Gold Solo Free Dance, and Gold Skating Skills.
I have been invited for the past three years to choreograph an intermission number for the UND Hockey Cheer team.
I currently reside in Grand Forks, where I have been married to my husband, Chris, for over 15 years, and we are raising our two sons, Cameron and Blake and my step-daughter Kelsi.
